Brussels, 15/01/2021 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission is opening a questionnaire on the trade agreement with three Andean countries. It is open to all private or institutional players affected by or interested in the agreement. The latter was concluded between the EU, Peru and Colombia, and Ecuador joined in 2017. The consultation aims to assess its impact, in particular in terms of costs and benefits, social or environmental impact. The EU imports more than it exports to these three countries, with a negative trade balance of €200 million. The consultation is open from 14 January to 8 April.
