14/01/2021 (Agence Europe) – The World Health Organization (WHO) is concerned about the high concentration of vaccines against Covid-19. During an online press briefing on Thursday 14 January, the director general for the European region deplored the fact that 95% of the vaccines against Covid-19 administered in the world have been administered in only 10 countries. However, he did not mention these 10 countries, although there is every indication that they are the United States, China, the United Kingdom, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Italy, Russia, Germany, Spain and Canada. It is necessary that “all countries that are able to contribute, provide and support equitable access and deployment of vaccines do so”, he said, highlighting the efforts of the organisation and its partners to ensure that every country can obtain vaccines.
