ICES and United Kingdom sign a memorandum of understanding

11/01/2021 (Agence Europe) – The International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES) reported on Monday 11 January that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (https://bit.ly/3bG2NuX ) with the United Kingdom. Under this protocol, ICES will provide the United Kingdom with scientific information and advice concerning fish stocks in the North Atlantic and adjacent seas. The agreement includes an annual opinion on fisheries opportunities, as well as information on the state of marine ecosystems and the effects of human activities.
