Green light from EU Council on Class actions

04/11/2020 (Agence Europe) – The EU Council formally approved on Wednesday 4 November the political agreement reached with Parliament on Class actions (see EUROPE B12517A15). The future Directive requires Member States to set up a system of representative actions to protect the collective interests of consumers in the event of infringements of EU law.
