Agreement among ambassadors of Member States to sanction Mr Lukashenko

04/11/2020 (Agence Europe) – Member States’ ambassadors to the EU agreed on Wednesday 4 November to sanction Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko; his son Victor, who is his National Security Advisor; and 13 other personalities involved in the crackdown on the Belarusian people. They will be subject to an asset freeze and a travel ban within the EU.
