One in three European workers working under pressure in 2019, according to Eurostat

06/10/2020 (Agence Europe)In 2019, nearly 35% of European workers said they are “often” or “always” under time pressure at work, according to a survey by the EU's statistical office (Eurostat) published on Tuesday 6 October. However, there are wide disparities between Member States. Malta recorded the highest proportion of employed people who always feel under pressure (21%), in contrast to Slovakia, where this is the case for only 4% of workers. The highest level of employees who have never been subject to time pressure at work is reported to be in Spain, at 39%. Pressure at work is likely have increased with the rise of teleworking in conjunction with the pandemic. For more information: https://bit.ly/30FfDDd (PH)
