14/09/2020 (Agence Europe) – The ten states subject to infringement proceedings for breaches of the EU Package Travel Directive (see EUROPE 12520/15) — the Czech Republic, Cyprus, France, Croatia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Italy and Greece — have all followed up on the letter of formal notice sent to them by the European Commission in early July. “Member States had two months to reply to the arguments raised by the Commission. The Commission has now received all the replies, which we are now analysing,-and will decide on the appropriate follow-up”, a Commission spokesperson confirmed to EUROPE. Italy and Greece, which have also been found guilty of violating the rights of air passengers (see EUROPE 12519/22), have also responded on this matter. (AC)
