Twenty-seven initiatives to be advocated by Commission on 20 May as part of ‘Farm to Fork’ strategy

On Wednesday 20 May, the European Commission is expected to propose the creation in several years’ time of a legislative framework for sustainable food systems and, in the context of the Covid-19 crisis, the creation of a European Union food safety observatory and an emergency plan to ensure food supply and safety in the event of a crisis (see EUROPE B12484A10).
