European Commission approves €18.2 million aid for Saarbrücken airport in Germany

12/05/2020 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 12 May, the European Commission approved operating aid of €18.2 million granted by Germany to Saarbrücken airport. Saarbrücken Airport is a small regional airport located in the German federal state of Saarland. In 2017, the Commission approved an initial operating aid of €12 million to Saarbrücken airport until April 2019.
