Borrell denounces US opposition to IMF loan

23/04/2020 (Agence Europe) – Josep Borrell, the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, expressed regret on Wednesday 22 April about US opposition to IMF financial support for Iran. This aid could amount to $5 billion. The EU supports the awarding of the loan (see EUROPE B12452A9).
