24/02/2020 (Agence Europe) – The European External Action Service announced, on Monday 24 February, that a Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) Joint Commission meeting, related to the Iranian nuclear deal, will be held in Vienna on Wednesday 26 February. This will be the first meeting of the Commission since Germany, France and the United Kingdom triggered the dispute resolution mechanism on 14 January (see EUROPE 12403/19). The timetable for this mechanism has since been extended (see EUROPE 12411/9). The meeting of the Joint Commission will be chaired on behalf of the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, by the Secretary General of the EEAS, Helga Schmid, together with representatives of Germany, France, the United Kingdom, China, Russia and Iran.
