UNESCO calls on EU and private sector to collaborate so that all children have access to safe and nutritious food

Malnutrition in all its forms - hunger, lack of essential nutrients or obesity - affects the health of millions of children around the world, UNICEF warned on Tuesday 15 October, in an alarming report on children, food and nutrition. The UN Agency is advocating for more financial incentives and market regulations, currently concentrated in the hands of 100 large companies representing 77% of processed food sales worldwide.
