The Finnish Presidency will assess on 25 October whether the EU Council's position on tax transparency has changed country by country

15/10/2019 (Agence Europe) – The proposal for country by country reporting will be on the agenda of the EU Council's Working Party on Company Law on 25 October. The Finnish Presidency has indeed committed itself (see EUROPE B12319A8) to trying to move the matter forward. The objective is to “to get an updated view on the Council’s position”, a Presidency expert told us on Tuesday 15 October, refusing, however, to speculate on the outcome of the meeting.
