EU Council agrees on technical elements of 2021-2027 Fisheries Fund

EU Fisheries Ministers reached agreement on Tuesday 15 October on certain technical aspects of the draft regulation on the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF).

The EU Council had already agreed on 18 June 2019 on a partial general approach on the EMFF (see EUROPE B12277A1).

This partial general approach left out aspects related to the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) and some technical aspects. It was on these technical aspects that the EU Council reached agreement, namely: -...
