26/08/2019 (Agence Europe) – The European Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) announced on 23 August that it was launching a public consultation until 12 September on a change in the rules for long-term capacity allocation. In July 2019, ACER received a proposal from all the transmission system operators (TSOs) on the amendment of the harmonised allocation rules for long-term cross-zonal transmission rights in accordance with Article 51 of Regulation 2017/1716 (guideline on the long-term allocation of capacity). To make an informed decision on the proposed amendment, the Agency invites comments from interested stakeholders. The Agency must adopt a decision on the proposed amendment before 15 January 2020.
