The European Union will join an initiative from the African Development Bank (AfDB) and support the entrepreneurship of more than 100,000 women in Africa to the tune of €85 million, announced the President of the European Council, Donald Tusk, at the G7 Summit in Biarritz.
It will “help develop businesses run by women”, Tusk said.
