23/08/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 23 August, European Commission spokeswoman Mina Andreeva denounced the publication in several media outlets of a nearly 200-page document entitled Directorates-General proposed priorities, which proposes in particular the creation of a 100 billion euros sovereign fund to finance European industrial champions. “Draft internal brainstorming should never be confused with policies”, Mina Andreeva vigorously explained. The “document of the services has not even been seen by the political hierarchy of the Commission nor by the President-elect or her transition team and even less approved by anyone”, she added, stating that the document should have “0 credence”.
