Almost a third of Europeans cannot afford a holiday, according to Eurostat

01/08/2019 (Agence Europe)Some 28.3% of Europeans cannot afford a holiday lasting at least a week, according to figures published by the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat) on Wednesday 31 July. However, although this rate remains high, it is lower than in 2013, when nearly 39.5% of Europeans could not afford a holiday. Member States are not equal in this respect.
