28/06/2019 (Agence Europe) – "A Season of Classic Films" begins this Saturday 29 June at the Bologna Film Festival and will continue until the end of September, with free screenings in thirteen EU countries, the Commission announced in a statement on Friday 28 June. Major European works will be screened in European capitals, but also in smaller cities, in order to highlight the richness and diversity of Europe's heritage by making it accessible to all, explains the European institution. Fritz Lang's Metropolis (1927) or François Truffaut's The 400 blows (1959) will be broadcast throughout the season. These events are part of the project ‘Restoration and digitalisation of film heritage’ and are supported by MEDIA Creative Europe. See the program: http://bit.ly/2LqHIY7 (MM-Intern)
