Boris Johnson well ahead in bid to succeed Theresa May after first round

13/06/2019 (Agence Europe) – The BBC has reported that former British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson led at the end of the first round of voting in the election for the new leader of the Tory party, with 114 votes out of a possible 313. Three of the 10 candidates have been eliminated before the next round: Mark Harper, Andrea Leadsom and Esther McVey.
