EU is mobilising €3.5 million in emergency aid to combat Ebola in DRC and neighbouring countries

13/06/2019 (Agence Europe) – The European Union is mobilising an additional €3.5 million in humanitarian aid to help the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and neighbouring countries fight the Ebola epidemic, the European Commission announced. Of this amount, €2.5 million is for Uganda, where the first cases of Ebola were detected this week, and €1 million for South Sudan.
