Informal meeting of Environment Ministers (and 21/05) - Climate change: innovative solutions and the role of citizens for a low-carbon future (how to better exploit opportunities related to lifestyle, circularity and land-use planning, etc.) - Biodiversity: IPBES results on the global assessment of biodiversity and ecosystem services (implications for the EU and the Global Biodiversity Framework after 2020).

Bucharest. Presidency of the Council of the EU. Ministerial Conference on a Joint Maritime Programme for the Black Sea. The issues addressed will concern sectors related to the ‘blue economy’ that can contribute to the sustainable economic development of the region and in particular of coastal regions (maritime affairs, fisheries and aquaculture, research and innovation, connectivity, environmental protection, tourism, education, and the development of the skills required by the maritime economy).
