Imminent European Parliament/Council agreement on broad lines of ‘Justice’ programme for 2021-2027

Negotiations between EU institutions on the 'Justice' programme for 2021-2027 to promote the establishment of a European area of justice based on mutual trust (see EUROPE 12030) could be successfully concluded as early as Tuesday 5 March. 

This is what Parliament rapporteur Heidi Hautala (Greens/EFA, Finland) hoped for, referring to “extremely good negotiations with the Council and the Commission” on Monday, 4 March, in the European Parliament's Committee on Legal Affairs (JURI).
