Council extends sanctions linked to misappropriation of public funds for one year

04/03/2019 (Agence Europe) – As announced by EUROPE (see EUROPE 12203), on Monday 4 March, the Council of the EU extended the freezing of the assets of twelve persons identified as responsible for the misappropriation of Ukrainian state funds or guilty of the abuse of office causing a loss to Ukrainian public funds for one year, until 6 March 2020.
