Belgium will raise the subject of taxation of aviation emissions at the EU Environment Council

Introducing VAT on airline tickets or taxing kerosene to help the EU fight climate change is what the Belgian delegation, which supports the “fair and correct taxation of air transport”, will argue on Tuesday 5 March at the Environment Council, raising the issue informally.
