European Parliament supports the EU Ombudsman in her fight for greater transparency in legislative work of Council

On Thursday, 17 January, by a very large majority, the European Parliament approved the recommendations made by the European Ombudsman Emily O’Reilly, to improve the transparency and accountability of Member States in the legislative work carried out in the EU Council.
