EU in search of new legal avenues to solve Chinese challenge

The European Commission announced to the World Trade Organisation (WTO) on Thursday 20 December that it is launching a new procedure against forced technology transfers imposed by China on European operators. This action should make it possible to test extended legal avenues with a view to resolving the challenge posed by the Chinese economic model to the WTO.
