EU extends mandates of four heads of mission

Ambassadors of the Political and Security Committee (PSC) agreed on Tuesday 18 December to extend the mandates of three heads of mission. On 7 December, they had already agreed on the extension of Eric Høeg's mandate. 

Thus, they decided to extend for one year, i.e. until 31 December 2019, the mandate of Vincenzo Tagliaferri, head of the EU Integrated Border Assistance Mission in Libya, EUBAM Libya, which has itself just been extended until 30 June 2020(see EUROPE 12161).
