CYPRUS: an island still divided, but which has been able to recover from the economic crisis

At the time of the economic crisis in Cyprus in 2013, EUROPE had questioned whether this crisis could provide an opportunity for the island's reunification (see EUROPE 10845).

Five years later, Cyprus has overcome the economic crisis, but the country is still divided.

Economic indicators are now green and the island is more than proud of its economic recovery. Investors are flocking from all sides thanks, in particular, to its famous citizenship by investment program or golden visas. The...
