Council adopts quotas at zero or reduced duties for certain imported fishery products

11/12/2018 (Agence Europe) – The EU Council of Ministers adopted on Tuesday 11 December the Regulation opening and providing for the management of autonomous tariff quotas of the Union for certain fishery products for the period 2019-2020. The Union has increased its dependence on imports to cover its consumption of fishery products. The text (applicable from 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2020) aims to ensure that import duties are reduced or suspended for a number of fishery products...
