Member States support Commission's proposal to cut down presence of trans fatty acids

07/12/2018 (Agence Europe) – In a Standing Committee meeting on Friday 7 December, Member States endorsed the Commission's proposal to set a maximum limit on the use of industrially produced trans fatty acids in foods marketed in the EU. This is good news for the institution, which hopes that this measure will better protect the health of consumers.
