European Parliament asks to be convinced of added value and proportionality of electronic evidence regulation

While Member States may soon reach political agreement in principle ('general approach') (see EUROPE 12146), discussions in the European Parliament are continuing on the Regulation establishing European production and preservation orders, which will allow electronic evidence to be obtained directly from a service provider (see EUROPE 12003).
