Council includes two new categories of State aid in State Aid Enabling Regulation

27/11/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 26 November, the EU Council approved the European Commission's proposal for a Regulation of 12 June last to include two new categories of State aid in the Regulation on the authorisation of State aid. The types of aid concerned are financing from States transiting or supported by EU financial instruments or budgetary guarantees and managed centrally by the Commission, as well as Aid for European Territorial Cooperation.
