Slovakia will not support Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration

27/11/2018 (Agence Europe) – The prospect of a unified EU position on the future ‘Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration' is becoming increasingly remote. Slovakia has joined the group of EU Member States that have announced their intention to turn their backs on this non-binding instrument, which is supposed to provide a framework for international cooperation on migration (see EUROPE 12144).
