Conditional green light to acquisition of AniCura by Mars

On Monday 29 October, the European Commission cleared the planned acquisition of AniCura by Mars, subject to the divestment of one activity by the former.

The operation was notified to the Commission on 10 September of this year. For Mars, an international company active in several sectors, including pet food – the aim is to take control of AniCura, a chain of veterinary clinics present in several member states of the European Union.
