Initial positive results of nuclear safety examination related to ageing management of nuclear power plants

On Monday 29 October, the European Nuclear Safety Regulators Group (ENSREG) announced the publication of the first peer review on the ageing management of nuclear power plants and research reactors, which is generally positive (see EUROPE 11733).

The process will now continue with the establishment of national action plans addressing the results of the peer review, ENSREG explains. These national action plans are due to be published in September 2019 and will be analysed by ENSREG.
