European Parliament Rapporteur Eric Andrieu recommends 'true' agricultural crisis management regulation

In his draft report on common market organisation (CMO) after 2020, Eric Andrieu (S&D, France) suggests complete recasting of the rules should be started in order to strengthen market regulation.

Andrieu’s draft report, to be presented to the agriculture committee of the European Parliament on 21 November as part of the package of three texts on common agricultural policy (CAP) post-2020, aims to create “true regulation of agricultural crisis management” (see EUROPE 12126).
