18/10/2018 (Agence Europe) – Experts from the European Union and China were able to discuss, from Monday 15 to Thursday 18 October, how to cooperate and exchange experience on competition policy during the 17th EU-China Competition Week in Beijing. This was particularly marked by the dialogue between the European Commission and the new State Market Regulatory Administration of the People's Republic of China. Among the topics covered, the parties discussed the rules on state aid and fair competition. These exchanges are part of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two entities on 1 June 2017 on State aid, more broadly, in line with the EU-funded competition cooperation project to provide technical assistance to Asian competition authorities.
