Green light to Slovakian investment aid for Jaguar Land Rover

04/10/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 4 October, the European Commission approved Slovakian investment aid of €125 million to Jaguar Land Rover, to assist the company to invest in the region of Nitra. In May 2017, the institution opened an in-depth investigation to determine whether this public support was compatible with EU State aid rules (see EUROPE 11795). It reached the conclusion that the aid was limited to the minimum necessary to encourage the company to invest in Slovakia...
