65% of Europeans no longer want animals in circuses

04/10/2018 (Agence Europe) – On the occasion of World Animal Day, a new survey published on Thursday 4 October reveals that 65% of Europeans surveyed condemn the use of wild animals in circuses. This is a YouGov survey conducted for the Dutch NGO AAP Animal Advocacy and Protection. 22% of those surveyed are in favour of animal acts in circuses. The proportion of respondents who are against animals in circuses varies according to country: 63% in Germany, 71% in Italy, 73% in Spain and 76%...
