20/09/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 19 September, The Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER) began a consultation until 14 November with a view to drafting a Guide for Bundled Products to protect consumers in all sectors, not just energy. The aim is to “set out principles that can be adopted by companies and national regulatory authorities to better protect consumers”. The European consumer organisation (BEUC) has stressed that consumers should be able to “compare products that are part of a bundled group” and “change or cancel one of the services without being forced to pay for the rest”.
