Budapest gets ready to bring proceedings against European Parliament vote on rule of law before Court of Justice

17/09/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 17 September, the Hungarian Prime Minister, Viktor Orban, announced that his government would challenge the voting procedure on the report by Judith Sargentini (Greens/EFA, Netherlands) that triggered an article 7 procedure against Budapest (see EUROPE 12094) and will be taking legal action to this effect.
