European Fiscal Board calls for slightly restrictive budgetary orientation in Eurozone in 2019

On Monday 18 June, the European Fiscal Board published a report aimed at the European Commission, in which it recommends a slightly restrictive budgetary orientation, in other words one that is geared to reducing spending, at the level of the Eurozone for 2019.

This recommendation of the European Fiscal Board, which is responsible for advising the Commission on budgetary matters, aims in particular to prepare the Eurozone countries for forthcoming economic shocks.
