Commission still hoping for compromise with Warsaw over rule of law

In Warsaw on Monday 18 June, the First Vice-President of the European Commission, Frans Timmermans, discussed the controversial justice reforms in Poland, particularly the law on the Supreme Court, with the Prime Minister, Mateusz Morawiecki.
