Parliament concerned at how talks on overhaul of European asylum system are going

European Parliament rapporteur on the reform of the Dublin regulation Cecilia Wikström (ALDE, Sweden) has said in a press release that she is “deeply disappointed” following the discussions on Tuesday 5 June (see EUROPE 12034), by home affairs ministers and ministerial representatives who cast doubt on whether the European Council will be able to reach agreement on this issue.
