European Parliament committee rejects ecologists' objection to new PCI list

On Wednesday 21 February, the European Parliament's energy committee rejected (by 44 votes against to 15 in favour) the draft resolution brought by a multi-party coalition led by ecologist MEPs, MEPs from the far left and Italian MEPs from the Five-Star Movement, objecting to the European Commission's delegated regulation on the new list of energy infrastructure projects of common interest (PCI), which was published at the end of 2017, on the grounds that it includes over 100 projects...
