Council of the EU. ‘Agriculture and Fisheries’ Council. ‘Agriculture: - exchange of views on the Commission communication “The future of food and agriculture” (advantages of the CAP, resources, objectives, subsidiarity). – Market situation in the sectors, such as sugar, milk and pork meat. – Commission report on matters related to international trade, such as the negotiation of the free-trade agreement with Mercosur. – Any other business: work programme of the Bulgarian Presidency, situation in countries hit by Xylella fastidiosa, 10th Global Forum for Food and Agriculture, the EU’s participation in the FAO and the election of the organisation’s Director General.
