CEMR proposes creation of European senate to go beyond nation state

The president of the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR), Stefano Bonaccini, has passed on a document on Europe of the Regions by 2030 to the commissioner responsible for regional policy, Corina Cretu.  The work calls in particular for the creation of a European Senate.
