22/01/2018 (Agence Europe) – Posted workers in subcontracting, cooperation against fraud and abuse, international road transport, postings by temporary employment agencies, posting allowances and long-term postings were on the agenda of the co-legislating European institutions at their meeting on Monday 22 January, as part of the new trialogue negotiations on the posted workers directive. During the previous meetings under the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the Union, negotiators made progress, particularly on the definition of payment and the single official website (see EUROPE 11927). The current Bulgarian Presidency has set itself the objective of reaching an inter-institutional agreement on this particularly difficult dossier (see EUROPE 11933). (PH)
