Hans Vijlbrief is elected head of Eurogroup working group

22/01/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 22 January, the eurozone finance ministers officially elected Hans Vijlbrief of the Netherlands to head the Eurogroup Working Group (EWG).  Vijlbrief thus succeeds Thomas Wieser of Austria who has held the post since January 2012.  Vijlbrief’s term of office will begin on 1 February.
